Join Rebecca & Kathy where the rainforest meets the ocean in Costa Rica at the incredible Nereus Retreat Center. Journey with us to the Osa Peninsula – a region described by National Geographic as one of the most “biologically intense” places on the planet.

This retreat provides an opportunity to disconnect from daily life and reconnect with yourself. There is nothing more healing than being surrounded by nature.

We will spend our mornings and evenings immersed in yoga, meditation, and pranayama. In between sessions, you can explore the peninsula’s spectacular beaches, snorkeling in calm coves, turtle-, dolphin- or whale-watching, and kayaking through lush mangroves. You can also choose to spend time in the gardens, swinging lazily in a hammock while watching squirrel monkeys leap from branch to branch overhead.

Included in your retreat package are two unforgettable adventure days.

Explore the breathtaking Corcovado National Park with a knowledgeable guide, where you’ll walk beneath the jungle canopy in search of tapirs, anteaters, sloths, and all four species of Costa Rican monkeys—along with countless other wildlife surprises.

You’ll also set out on the pristine waters of the Golfo Dulce with Mystic Blue, captained by Tom and his partner Alizé. As one of only four tropical fjords in the world, this unique marine sanctuary offers a magical glimpse into the wild heart of the Pacific coast.

Accomodations

We will stay in a combination of single- and two-storey villas, arranged around the central swimming pool and extending along verdant paths between the trees, accommodating between one and three guests.

All rooms feature air conditioning, ample storage space, WiFi, USB charging ports for devices, and large, comfortable beds. In the airy bathrooms, you’ll find a selection of full-size organic Biosfera products, sustainably made in Costa Rica using rainwater.

The beach is less than a 60-second walk away, through a designated nature reserve alive with the sound of birdsong and of the waves lapping against the shore of the Golfo Dulce.

The price includes accommodations, 3 chef-prepared meals per day, an excursion to Corcovado National Park, and a boat tour on the Golfo Dulce—one of only four tropical fjords in the world.
