Kathy Koher

I began practicing yoga in March of 2002. I came to yoga because of an ankle injury that led to

some severe back problems. My friends kept telling me yoga would heal what ailed me. I fell in
love with Ashtanga after my first practice.

Having been an athlete my whole life, I was initially drawn to the physical aspect of yoga. Over time, I realized that there was so much more to this practice than the physical aspect. I felt this indescribable lightness after practice; this was my introduction to the spiritual side of yoga, which also led me to establish a daily meditation and pranayama practice. I found what I didn’t even realize I was searching for.

Each day, I roll out my mat and do my best with whatever I have to offer. I’ve learned over the years to practice accepting the ups and downs of life, both on and off the mat. Growth is a constant, whether physically, mentally, or spiritually, as long as I remain open to it.

I hope as a teacher, I can pass on the same joy and peace I’ve found in my practice. I also hope to show people that with a daily commitment to yourself and the practice, the possibilities are endless.

I love teaching retreats because they allow me to connect with people on a deeper level and share my passion for yoga and pranayama. It’s even better because I get to do it with one of my favorite people in the world!

Come join us and immerse yourself in yoga, meditation, and pranayama, while cultivating more joy and laughter along the way.
